Today was a traveling day. We left Saas Grund and headed
East via Italy to Locarno. The drive took us through some amazing mountain
passes including Simplonpass, the Gondoschlucht, Val Divedro and Val Vigezzo
which is also known as the Vally of a Thousand Valleys. The scenery ...
... later! Love those direct trains! A short taxi ride and we were at our B & B Resiidence Cavour, about a block from lake front. We were met by our host Moione who checked us in, showed us our room, the residence amenities, explained a few sights to see around Lake Como and places to eat. Gordon had some fun in there at the Mercedes store. Then on to the Duomo - the third largest church in the world apparently & kind of hard to believe they get much bigger than this. Didn't see much point in trying to take photos as it ...
