We packed up this morning. It didn't take us long as we had taken down the awning last night whilst it was dry (for the first time in days!). John had popped to the shop and bought
marmalade filled croissants for breakfast – delicious.
We retraced our steps to Rive Del Garda and then made our way along the valley, past Arco with its magnificent castle sat on a huge rock on the middle of the plain. ...
... a couple we had seen on another walk two days before.
We stopped for lunch and took in the views, the farm house with its shuttered windows and pots filled with geraniums, the flower strewn meadow and the sheer grey rock of the mountains providing the back drop.
The path down took us through Ledro Land Art, a woodland trail dotted with sculptures. Before we knew it, we were back at the lake and just a short walk back to the campsite.
Set off for Modena this morning - Ferrari country!!!! Actually, the region is home to Lamborghini, Maserati, Bugatti and Ducatti as well, and so I was hoping that our visit to the Enzo Ferrari Museum would give me enough time for a decent look around! We have spent eons looking at ancient churches, castles and buildings etc. and as lovely as they are, I am totally over them!!!!

... stay at some cabins in the mountains or not…. The Europeans are so active and fit they put us to shame. Everywhere we go they are walking, running, biking at rapid paces and they are not scared of the odd uphill mountain or two.
