... arrived too early at the Raz. As the conditions were so good we decided to go through with the tide against us so we had to put the motor on to assist us getting through and not going backwards. As we sailed past the Raz it was a lovely feeling to think we didn't have to do this sail again as it can be very tidal. In the late afternoon, we wandered around and found a little bar to have a drink at. We sat in the sun, enjoying a couple of beers and a delicious cheese platter with Rochford, Camembert and goats ...

Today we went to Le Conquet and Ile Molene. Le Conquet is about 40 minutes drive from Brest and is a quaint little fishing Port. Jillian had booked us on a Ferry to Molene from La Conquet at 11am returning a 5pm. Unfortunately (or fortunately as it turned out), she had made the booking for July instead of June. The company did not operate in June, but the guy was really helpful and give us a refund. He was excited that we ...
