    ... I fear one owes the french an apology for whilst it isn't as Anglocised as the Costa del Sol, the evidence of "Fish & Chips" advertised and the dominant placing of Donahue's Irish pub tends to indicate that their presence has had some impact.

    ... and have fun. Then I started to realize something. Everyone was talking about their family trees. That's when it all made sense. I had heard that the word "Ker" is "house" in Breton and "Emma" was the name of an ancestor (eight generations from the treasurer's daughter I believe). It was not simply a few ancestors of Emma in "Keremma" but everyone in the town were descendants of Emma.     ... and got to bed around midnight.
    It was a fantastic two days. Stefan and Madeleine really know how to look after their guests and we are so grateful to them. Sadly, we have to take the TGV back to Paris on Thursday and then fly to San Francisco on Friday.

    ... the disappointment and have a typical huge lunch. The kids were very impressed with Brittany especially the unique tidal patterns of this coastal region. In 6 hrs, the water can move 6 mtrs high. It's very interesting to see the boats sitting in no water and come back 6 hrs later and they are floating. We went to lunch ...

    ... and salad. Another yummy meal.
    Then we left for the Pointe du Raz - yet another end of land with high cliffs and views of the sea. Certainly Brittany is very much about the sea, seafood. Because there are many river estuaries forming great ports.
    Fall is coming to Brittany with leaves turning gold and some with reddish tinges.
