    ... king was insane but he had some awesome ideas for his castle. The throne room was breathtaking and the fact that everything is based on swans. There is even a man made cave inside! Only 16 out of 80 rooms were complete and they were wonderful! Our guide was fantastic too! We finished by going to the balcony and taking photos of the scenery!     ... to or even deliberately tap you on the head with the tray to find a way through. It was all very interesting and another charm of Oktoberfest. The crowds inside were too huge and to get a beer you needed to be at a table so Rox and I decided to move on and headed out of the tent and back into the crowds outside. Following our venture to the site today we decided that given how tired we are we would go get some dinner and call it a night. Quite lame ...

    ... bar me can speak more than one language. I really need to step my game up and learn. Even if I don't learn a lot while I'm here I really want to continue learning when I'm back in the UK in some way.

    So all in all if would highly recommend Oktoberfest. It really is a great experience. A lot of laughs were had that night. Good food, good drink, good friends and good times. But don't forget your tracht!

    ... Then we walked up a hill near and was able to get a beautiful view of Munich city. We ate lunch at small cafe in Olympic Village. Also walked through Olympic Village. Very impressed with all the flowers and plants growing on all the balconies in Olympic Village.     ... itself.. one at the Marienplatz, the oldest (records back to the 14th century)and is a hive of activity.. mixed in with the hundreds of retail stores, mega department stores and restaurants galore it has one entranced with the Xmas glee once more. A walkable distance away is the Medieval themed Xmas markets..where everything is medieval.. the stands , the vendors clothing ,the wares for sale..lots of hand made belts, bags, bow ...
