    ... Then we walked up a hill near and was able to get a beautiful view of Munich city. We ate lunch at small cafe in Olympic Village. Also walked through Olympic Village. Very impressed with all the flowers and plants growing on all the balconies in Olympic Village.     ... it completely worth it. We then continued to mosey through the pedestrian-only streets surrounding the platz, entering multiple churches and coming across the coolest Mercedes showroom ever.

    Our day eventually led us to the 500 year old Hofbrauhaus, we spent a good amount of time exploring the multiple levels of the historical building. The top level is Festival Hall, definitely the loudest and most lively. Festival Hall was one of the sites where Hitler rallied together ...

    ... all things wooden and handmade. one feels as though you have been sent back in time.. what fun!
    Last to be seen and enjoyed is the ice skating rink at the start of the retail area..
    Munich's largest out door skating rink is enjoyed by many.. the skaters, the spectators .. who also enjoy the mulled wines and traditional foods from the surrounding stalls..
    All in all , a wonderful introduction to Munich, Winter Snow & Christmas ...

    ... the day would be cold too. It wasn't. It was pretty damn sunny to be wandering the streets but I had a mission to see a lot so there I was, subtly striping off my thermals in the Olympic park. Munchen hosted the 1972 Olympics and they had a pretty futuristic set up. I went up the tallest tower in the city whilst I was there.
