After a days rest in Naters and getting odds and ends done, I had a already a plan for Wednesday.
Before I immigrated to the US I was working in Lenzburg. Lenzburg is near Zurich.
The son of my ex boss, Pascal, came one year to live with us for 3 months in Phoenix, AZ. as an exchange student. On and off we kept in ...

... Hotel, Lake Lucerne at 6.30pm after only a 20 minute stop! We needed the welcome prosecco! They had upgraded us to a suite which was beautiful. The hotel is 140 years old so has really high ceilings and character. Quick change and off to The Swiss House for dinner, very expensive OMG! Crepes were good though and cooked at our table. Hope to explore more tomorrow as Lucerne looks so exquisite with stunning buildings set against the backdrop of the mountains with the lake at their ...

Dinner was on our own tonight, so we went to a Rathaus for bier and brats. The building was built in 1602 and has stone arches and floors. The food was very good; the beer was better! Tomorrow the rain is expected to return; we have a long 100-km day ...

"Home" is 6 fair sized residences in an industrial area above a brewery with the top 2 apartments occupied by the owner (part-time) and his son.

There's garages behind the building and we're told the owner keeps beautiful restored cars in the garages.

Hope he comes by sometime because it would be great to see the cars.

We encountered a man who rented a garage and in it he had 2 older BMV motorcycles he was restoring, one with a ...

... intersections that is. But usually there is just a throng of people getting around and as long as you remember that cars come from the other direction walking around is quite easy. I love the Paris cafes. They are everywhere. They are quite open with the front tables being on the street. Again there is obviously no council bylaw with regard to this as there would be in Australia. The tables have a small round top usually with 2 chairs placed behind them per table so ...
