... I don't want to sound too confident here, but I think Josh and I have finally become quite sufficient in using public transit here in Paris. I love how efficient the trains are! I have yet to see any train or bus run behind schedule.

Now it's time to relax with a glass of wine, and plan out our day for tomorrow. Only one day left in Paris before we head to Beaune! We have to make the most of it!

For dessert, I had another chocolate chip cookie. The cookies are so good because you can taste the home made dough as it crumbles in your mouth. Yet another wonderful cathedral with some delightful windows. After this we did find the Tourism Office and as usual the staff member was very helpful and spoke very good English. We walked around the town briefly before heading to the Musée de ...

... bottles of wine on them reminding me of a wedding. In France, most restaurants have set menus each day, often three courses with a glass of wine included, and the choice of entre, plate and dessert, and often reasonably priced as well. While it’s not likely we will backtrack to see the famous tapestry of Bayeux, we should be able to see mont st-michel tomorrow and then head the car southeast with the next few nights booked in ...

    Enough of Paris?

... beach resort town with golden sandy beaches, colorful umbrellas, semi-warm water and well, sun. A quick 2 hour train ride from Paris.

Good advice. So I took it.

I spent the day today on the sand. Slipping in and out of a dozing position (with odd sunburns to prove it). Got a pizza about 4pm and devoured it. Took a walk, felt the warm water and soft sand. Okay, I’ll stay tomorrow (if it doesn’t rain too much). Ate my fill of ...
