... 24kms from our destination, if we use the toll road or more than double that if we don't. We change our mind about toll roads. We should have know, this is France, and of course they have toll booths staffed with people. Unfortunately, it has come that time to say goodbye to Suzanne and to the beautiful Normand countryside and the very nice folks that live there, but we look forward to seeing our loved ones and our pets back home. ... in wine sauce, with a plate of cheese (the last one, I promise!) as dessert. When these folks say a bowl of mussels they mean it – I counted 50 before I just stopped counting.

I could go to the Casino, but I would just get in trouble.

Tomorrow I think I might do the same thing. With a bit of shopping thrown in for good measure.

    Day two.

The sky was gray and overcast. The streets were wet from the rains that ...
