    ... with our bags, as we passed through most of the town centre an shopping area, and by the lovely strip of park they have running through town. We were very pleased to find our accommodation though, and after meeting our lovely host (who spoke mostly French, good opportunity to revisit what I learnt in school!) we relaxed on the bed for a bit.     ... proceeded to go upstairs. The train was already in & we ended up with only about a 10 min wait. We had booked seats in 1st class although there weren’t many people on it. Why do they have 1st class up the front of the train when it is the furthest from the entrance to the platform??

We are only chugging along at 10.5 knots, so we are clearly in no rush, but I think that slower speed is helping to keep the boat pretty steady (a normal speed on a cruise is around 20 knots).
