... policeman, and I encouraged Dad to ask him to take a picture together. So Dad shared his business card and introduced himself, and the policeman was more than happy to pose for a picture with Dad. He also walked us to the bus stop while chatting about how being a policeman in Monaco is not too tough a job, not like Chicago. Finally, he directed us to the bus and told us which stop to look for with the train station - all of this without us asking! Very ...

... cognac. He suggested the nearby Seven Blue Bar at the Hotel Aston. The elegant hotel boasted a rooftop bar with views of the Old Town and the sea. We arrived shortly before closing, so the bartender poured us snifters of armagnac VSOP before closing the bar and leaving us to enjoy the view and the breeze. ... making the walking much tougher than Barcelona and Madrid. Then I sat at the end of the port and relaxed for 20 minutes.

Then I took a 2.5h train ride to Nice. I got the window seat on the water side and I had the best view of some of the most beautiful coastline I've ever seen! Breathtaking, again! I was thinking to myself that I would love to live here, but I actually might get quite bored after ...
