      They absolutely loved it, so much so that we had to go back for a second session the next day. Again another hour of us laughing, but they seem to be getting the hang of it and we see some improvements.

      ... stage so I got Briony out of bed and we went for a walk around the city of Nice. We wandered down the main drag with all the big buildings and shops and wide footpaths. We found a place that had all sorts of Macaroons and bought ourselves a couple and head to a nearby bakery and got ourselves some breaklunch. Lunch was eaten on the raised walkway above the rocky beach and we just sat there in the sun and people watched while eating.

      ... SHOP" on the windscreen. We unloaded the car and headed inside. The queue was LONG! Europcar are obviously the busiest of all the rental companies and we must have arrived at a busy time. The line moved slowly but in the end the young chap at the counter was very helpful and replaced the car without asking many questions... I'm guessing I will deal with insurance costs at a later date!

      ... until the 1950's. We had lunch at Ese (down in the newer part of town), which was lovely too. After lunch we continued the drive down into the tiny principality of Monaco. At one point you can actually see the borders of 3 different countries, France, Monaco and Italy. Monaco is the 2nd smallest country in the world after the Vatican City. It is very obviously extremely wealthy and has a regular population ...

      ... and the spray of water came closer to our feet. All fine were in a safe seat. Moments later Pete get up to hide in the bushes saying he's not gunna sit there as a Barrier for me...pfft he's exaggerating I think. ..seconds later I am drenched, screaming and laughing like the kids I was watching, as I too ran for the bushes.
