... go to church, but out of obligation come for the Easter service (I hope God worked in them). After church we went over to Nick's apartment to have Easter lunch/dinner with Mel, Nick, and Mel's brother. All 10 of us gathered around a table and had a fantastic Easter meal (thanks again guys for having us over!) We then played games for the rest of the afternoon and early evening. Left for Dead 2 (a zombie survival video game), Settler's of Catan (the ...
... sense when I'm typing it out, but it was one of the most entertaining car rides I've had in a while. We also thought about calling into the love song radio station that we were listening to. If the DJ asked us who we were thinking about, we would've responded by describing a fictional sail boat with a name that sounds like a real person (like Maria, Pearl, or Elizabeth) and then ask them to play Come Sail Away by Stix. We drove hour upon hour of twisting segments of desert road with amazingly long stretches of road in between. One stretch was so long, and on a downward slope, Ryan and I got ...
... d love to see some floats roll out of these buildings. Actually, I'd enjoy seeing all that scaffolding and boards across the scaffolding being taken down and moved.
The people in charge of the Rose Parade floats do a wonderful job of making it easy to enjoy the process. The prices are reasonable and it is all very well organized.
We are back in our hotel, dry and warm. We hope you've enjoyed this look at the floats.
