      ... to Orleans - it is self service. The Tours stop was straight forward - the connecting bus was only over 1 bay. Not too long a wait. About 30 min into the next journey there was a driver swap.       ... had a set menu - 2 courses tonight. I was adventurous and tried the trio of mushrooms for entree while Peter and Sue had terrine. I was able to identify two of the mushroom stuffings (cheese and rillette) but the third was similar to oysters. - I was guessing it was possible escargot. When the waitress came to clear our plates I asked her - she was slightly hesitant to explain the stuffing but when I looked excited she informed it was escargot. ...

      ... the days ride was only expected to be about 40kms we were all ok with the additional kms. A few hills were put in for good measure but they were nothing we couldn't deal with. We sat in the shade of a walnut tree and enjoyed our morning hydration stop and a few had a rhubarb tart. The setting was beautiful - the valley below had rows and rows of vineyards.       ... though they could have done with a few good feeds - they certainly had a lot of ribs showing. Next was a toilet stop - just along the river a little further. It work us a while to find it - it was one of the auto flushing and light sensor ones. The mens was totally open air.
