Woke to a very misty morning, and the Port of Dinan looked entirely different. We headed off early (for us!) to catch a boat to cruise along the Rance to St Malo. The mist made the river very atmospheric, though the downside was not being able to see very clearly the very pretty villages along the way. ... then met up with C&R for a lovely lunch, sounds as though we spend our time hanging out in bars and cafés, this was a bit of the tourist beat, so good job we had our French speaker with us. My starter was once gain. Cancale oysters and prawns with wonderful mayo, and these were even better than last nights. With full tums we heaed to the supermarket and slowly wended our way home, stopping off in one of the churches to listen to someone playing the organ. ...
... dinner time. Wouldn't you know it, but it was just after 2:00PM. We drove to several places and all they were serving was drinks. One place felt sorry for us and she made us some ham and cheese sandwiches, and we had a beer. She got a nice tip.
