Every now and again, we'd come across a village perched on a hill with al the buildings arranged on the steep slopes. They were obviously sited this way for strategic purposes.
We finally came to a massive blue lake. We didn't attempt to get down to the shore.
It was getting pretty late - around 7pm - so we motored the 130kms or so back to Mougins.
