Second to last full day in Europe.. sighhh.

... recently and knew the water there was extremely cold....I quick foot in the water refreshed my memory! Before I knew it one of the crew had dived in, I assumed it was Lola the niece/au pair/babysitter for Charlie. A longer glance and I realised it was my darling wife!!!!!!!!
Before long Ronald was also in the water, the rest us waited til later in the afternoon but we all had a dip and survived

... with other European and expat friends to the contrary, we were able to find a turkey - and a 5.1kg (11+lb) one at that!! Not only that, but the Auchan had a whole wall of various turkey parts (breasts, legs, etc.) so even lacking a whole turkey we could have put together a fine meal. the only thing I couldn't find was fresh herbs.
