    Water, water everywhere

... stopping and starting, but our long settee has a habit of wandering off across the van more and more. Obviously the catch is not working. We drove completely round the Le Mans race grounds and past the airport where all the helicopters land on race days. Needless to say after about one hour it was raining and it is now 8.15pm and it has ...

Interesting village where Van Gogh lived the last 70 days of his life & where he is buried. He painted 80 paintings & 100+ drawings during this time! Hugely misty this morning. Getting out of Nantes was a bit of a nightmare as Snooper froze again. I suppose that she wasn't getting a good gps signal with all the trees. But we did eventually get on the autoroute and headed off to Durtal. We know Durtal - it has narrow cobbled streets. So we knew that we should separate as soon as we ...

... slowly easing round the corner begin to speed up, the back end went light but no twitch and we eased away towards the circuit. Through the twisty slippery circuit section the final chicane and once again the pit straight. Second time round a little faster we got up to 110 mph on the straight in the wake of an Aero 8 fantastic, terrifying, exhilarating incredible fun. I can't wait to do it again.

It took time to get away from the track being ...
