    ... back to town, we went to the super mâché (supermarket) and bought, bread, eggs...and pasta for a home cooked meal. Nice for a change as although we are still enjoying the local fare, we are aware of the costs of eating out each night. Unfortunately we must leave this town after only two nights, we so wish we could have stayed longer, there was so much more to see and experience, it is somewhere we would like to come back and spend more time.     ... out for the week, and a couple from Australia on a 6 month tour of Europe. It was great touching base with them.

    Tomorrow I plan to visit Amboise but knew it was too far to reach today (France is huge!), so I made my way to Laval and have stopped here for the night. In my effort to loose one weight this trip I have stopped for a pint and a burger, not sure where I read about this diet but it seems very nice!

    ... his partner and their 3 month-old daughter. So I had a quick training on 'how to take care of a baby' feeding, part 1 - the bottle. I managed that part well (I think). Didn't try to change any nappies.

    ... son extrait au parfum léger d'orange/fleur d'oranger. Intéressant.

    Leur cave est aussi un petit joyau, avec sol en terre battue, c'est la sur des étagères que le st nectaire ou le bleu des causses finissent de s'affiner, certains caressés par les levures et champignons. Les bouteilles sont disposées presque à même le sol dans un respect scientifique de conservation.

    Cette auberge et ce lieu sont hors du temps, atypique mais si simple ...

    Entre temps, sur une pente bien plus raide , à l'approche du hameau, Irène me donne le nom des fleurs ou de plantes que je désigne de l'index comme un gamin de CE1 : Narcisse, myosotis, lilas pourpres, alliaires et d'autres que j'ai déjà enterrer le nom !!

    je suis un piètre herboriste mais qui veut apprendre. Je commence à zéro, que dis je à moins 15 !!, je lui rétorque.
