The third day we headed into Bordeaux. It was so hot, about 37 degrees, but such a beautiful city. We were going to do the 70 minute bus or 60 minute guided train around the city but found a map and decided to do our own tour with Jim reading the map and me taking the photos, perfect.

We arrived on time and passed through French customs with barely a glance as usual, followed by a long wait at baggage claim for our bags and bikes but it was far too early to check into our hotel anyway so no harm no foul.
