It was doing to be a hot weekend so we headed out to the coast and checked into a campsite. Electric hook up and unlimited wifi seems like luxury. Arcachon turned out to be an upmarket holiday resort with chic town, massive villas and beautiful beaches. Plenty of cycling and swimming in the ...
... had a few waves until the sun went down on the horizon. Probably the best surf I had so far in France and it wasn’t crowed… Today the contest is cancelled and we are relaxing in a little bar 'Blue Café’ at the boulevard in Hossegor with a big screen of the surf.
Tomorrow we will enter Spain and change the scenarie going through the Pyrenees mountains, will keep you posted!
... apparently, a hotel! I ran up to the top so I could take photos, no easy task, as walking in deep sand is very good exercise indeed! Luckily there was a set of stairs and a rope handrail for going up, and I plunged through the sand barefoot on the way down, quite fun, actually!
