... for some general lounging and pool time.

On Sunday we all rode the bus to the airport together. We said our goodbyes (a tearful one for Patti) and had hugs all around. After Kip and Taylor disappeared behind the security checkpoint Patti and Rick headed back to the bus and the boat. It was a wonderful visit, particularly for Rick and Patti as they have been away from home and family for what seems like forever.

... occasionally and then die completely. It's oppressive and has that proverbial feeling of the calm before the storm.

I'm working on a video blog of this event, no promises because so far all my videos are too large for uploading from the sporadic wifi we get in these marinas.

... on a lovely meal on the beach on Christmas Day, and at midnight we saw the New Year in on the beach from where we could see the fireworks right across the town.

We went on a whale watching boat trip for a day. It included a simple breakfast, whale watching, followed by a chosen activity and lunch.
