    Well...this is it. Homeward Bound...

    I woke up early to say goodbye to Vanessa and to shower, pack, and load my stuff into a cab at 8:30 bound for the airport. I had a no-tears goodbye from Vanessa and very teary goodbye from her parents (really, REALLY lovely people...I'm going to miss them all so much!) and at promptly 8:30, I hit the road, hoping not to be stuck in traffic too gnarly...

    We bought a truck to carry the camper today! It needs a little work, but seems basically strong. Once we get it travel-ready, we need to go to Arizona to pick up the camper.

    In other news today, we also decided to rent out our house (rather than selling), and selected a property management company.
