      ... took us to the start of the track. There were a couple of mountain bikers in the cable car as well who were riding the downhill trains in the rain and slushy snow.

    • We got to the top and the first bit of snow I stood on turned out to be really icy. I fell straight on my ****.

      ... going from Belgium to Switzerland by train. We ended up going through the Netherlands (yes, we went north to get south for some reason) and also through Germany. Since we did not get off in the two middle countries they do not count as new countries. We arrived in Bern, Switzerland around 8am.       ... mechanism powered by the water wheel. We finally went into a little place that made and sold cheese. We decided to buy some, which was a very good decision. We saw many other buildings (houses, storage areas, stables, etc.), tools, and machines that showed how the Swiss lived so many years ago. I was really impressed! Some buildings were over 400 years old, but most were only a couple hundred years old. It was a great day overall! ~Camden

      Tim flew in from NY and Andrea from London for a stunning weekend hiking Les Diablerets.

      Going up the huge gondolan down to Gsteig and across to Gstaad. It was a high hike and a little chilly at times - stunning walking across the glacier before descending into the valley and taking a gondola down.
