... We walked around the wall then back to the restaurants to have dinner. We chose a three course dinner for 24 Euro. About 9pm we went back to the wall, sat at a table, drank red merlot wine and watched the tide come in until midnight. ... that had been bolted for 200 years. We drove to Schoenenberg to the Basilica. It was warm but really windy. This church and hill in the destination of a Catholic German pilgrimage. ... of ACDC, Aerosmith and Chili Peppers, we arrived at the next site by about 3. Camping Waldpark Hohenstadt, ACSI 764, allocated pitches, pay for showers, unlimited electric, nice pool but down two really steep slopes (which obvs you have to get back up!), free wifi at reception / restaurant. We decide to walk to one of the taller buildings in Schorndorf were there is a bar at the top so that we can take some aerial photos of the village. On the way we will stop for a light lunch. ... one it was extremely light with an umbrella needed on only one of those and then only for about an hour or so. And yes, we do experience Sommerzeit in Germany—their equivalent to Daylight Saving Time. It began this year on March 30. Winterzeit begins on October 26.
