... into the next table. So along came skipper to the rescue, providing first aid by icing the arm and trying to make a sling from his handkerchief. All the while Thurston was thinking about the next law suit. Little buddy is very happy that someone else is now in the firing line. Lots of laughs had by all of us.

Need to get some sleep as early morning tomorrow.

... town to get something when the woman of the apartment knocked on our door and explained they were having a barbecue and asked if she could offer us three pieces of meat. The three of us glanced at each other and made a quick decision to accept. We were each enjoying a large steak and some tasty potato salad when she came back to offer us three slices of cheesecake as well. We had a feast at the kindness and generosity of this family and were very ...

Yesterday morning we left Slovenia, took an hour and a half bus to visit Skocjan Caves, which is home to the deepest canyon in Europe. It's one of two popular caves in Slovenia and supposedly less tourists visit this one than the other, but there were still quite a bit of people there. The big group was split into two and our guide ran our tour in English. The guided tour lasted an hour and a half and covered about 500 steps. We have been ...
