... and its only midday) we cleared away the leftovers and collapsed onto the couch for a while before going for a drive, Peter hadn't drunk much fortunately). We stopped for coffees just as a thunderstorm hit. Awesome lightening and thunder show and huge raindrops. A fairly heavy shower before easing off. Thursday morning we were up at 5am to drive to Frankfurt to catch our flight to Zagreb, Croatia and then drive 2 hours to Derventa, Bosnia to Rad's parents. A very interesting drive. The war here was 19 years ago but the damage is still very evident with damaged homes, some beyond repair. Obvious bullet holes in the walls, plaster broken away from ...

... was really in the Zoo apart from us (there would have been about 1 staff member) - so we left around 7:30pm.

One noticeable animal in abundance was the good old mosquito. The zoo a number of pretty green looking ponds and was right next to the Drava river. This provided the perfect mozzi breading ground and didn’t we know it!!!

Back at the house we were met by yet more cousins and family. It was a long night, getting ...
