... another restaurant 200 yards and he pointed to it, but I was persistent and another guy spoke some English, so we figured something out , and of course when we got the food, it was not what we expected, but it was good. This is where you need to be like a Willow--

Yesterday was bright and sunny, so we scrapped plans of touring Prague Castle. We figured we could do that in a couple of days when the rain is supposed to roll in; in the meantime we went back into the Old Town to see if everything still looked as amazing as it had the night we arrived. Short answer: yup. There were obviously bigger crowds but it definitely wasn't as bad as the guidebook let on. Think Disney on a weekday in offseason (whenever that is). One interesting ...

... Vltava. I was only 11, the conversation I recall, which part of Prague at the time I cannot, although if you pointed a gun at me and asked, I'd say Karlin. It doesn't matter.

Anyway, congratulations to the Prague Metro on reaching 40. Worth a mention because it really is one of the outstandingly well run public transport systems anywhere in the world.

... a walk along the beautiful river. We got ourselves ready and headed to a restaurant around the corner that an exchangee we knew in Krems (from Prague) had recommended us.
