Today we went to Le Conquet and Ile Molene. Le Conquet is about 40 minutes drive from Brest and is a quaint little fishing Port. Jillian had booked us on a Ferry to Molene from La Conquet at 11am returning a 5pm. Unfortunately (or fortunately as it turned out), she had made the booking for July instead of June. There are quite a number of British boats here either waiting for the right tides for which ever way the are going in or for the right wind conditions for going through the Chanel du Four. We are one of the latter - which currently looks like Thursday to be the best for us.
We wandered around the marina checked out the restaurant menus and then sat back in the cockpit doing not much - much like everyone else.
We left Treguier and followed the Rose Granite coast and picked up a visitors buoy in Port Blanc. We didn't venture into the village, just stayed on board and relaxed. I retuned the TV box and strangely enough got no French TV but all English stations including freeview. it was nice to see the news (mostly focussed on D-Day (beaches which we had passed a few days earlier)).
