Slept long and left only around 10 to Cefalu about an hour drive from where we stay and famous for its DUOMO (again) and BEACH. We left as usual under a brilliant sky with hot temperatures.
For the drive to Cefalu we took the smaller roads to see some of the scenery along the coast. Beautiful views and again the typical nonchalance of the Italians going to the beach and parking wherever they find a spot. The drive was nice, we passed ...
... in decay. Some places are open and spacious, others are very compact with cars blocking the streets or at one place the Palermians setting up an inflatable swimming pool in the middle of the street.
The good thing is there is nothing to be afraid of in Palermo, we had no bad encounters despite the fact that we went through some rough areas. There are a few nice places in the city with ...

Yeah unfortunately QLD lost. So close wish they could of won. It was good to watch footy again. but we did go out and half climb a massive rock which was fun.
And we walked around town and we also walked to the port and looked around there.
