    We got to our hotel in Cefalu at about 4:00, checked in and went directly to the beach. We hadn't had anything to eat since breakfast so we sat at a little bar on the beach and had a beer and shared a panini.

    ... local supermarket and the fruit and vege shop. you have to put on a plastic glove to choose your fruit and veges and their choices are very basic, not spoilt like we are! Larry was very interested in choosing some vino and beers that seem to be in plentiful supply. I think I could have stayed in Canneto a little longer... It is gorgeous. ...

    ... we went up to a bar for a beer after another day on the beach. As usual, we picked up some rubbish as we went. This time an embarrassed looking local handed over a bottle top to add to our collection. Maybe Jo's idea of providing a positive model for the other beach goers is getting some traction??     ... dramatically set on a rocky coastline with steep mountains at its backdoor. The narrow streets are all cobbled and only the occasional service vehicle pushes you up against a wall.
