    ... day with them.

We arrived around 6pm.and the traffic was mayhem. Again due to New Years and Buzios only having one road in one road out the traffic was like a stand still. We grabbed some dinner then started the painful task of trying to get to.our hostel which should have only been 15min driving. There were very few taxi's and the few we managed to call down refused to take us due to the traffic. The white minivans that are used to go up down Buzios were ...

Remeber when we said we would be looking forward to being on a bus for 24 hours? Yeah, not so much. We have arrived scratched, bruised, (and I'm convinced) still wet in Rio de Janeiro after a neck-numbing 32 hours on four different busses. I know, it sounds bad. I'd love to say that it wasn't as bad as it sounds, and I guess I can, because it was much worse. Never before have I been happy to arrive at a bus station (It's been a ...

... So I donīt really understand why we (and all the other unsuspecting transit passengers) were barked at, ordered around, herded like cattle, interviewed, fingerprinted, photographed, sniffed by dogs, patted down and ordered through two sets of security in a process that took two hours. Nuff said. Well, ten hours later we arrive in Brazil to a much warmer reception. Hooray! We are in Rio de Janeiro! I should preface this blog by saying that I was a bit worried, in ...
