  • As much as possible, avoid travelling with females to previously untravelled adventure destinations. Not that we are discriminating against them, but their safety and physical health could be at risk during such difficult situations.
  • Whenever you get stranded in a forest with no clue of where to go, it is always better to stay united and possibly combine with other groups. Going solo or against the will of the group can be detrimental and misleading.

    ... the necks of chickens one-by-one in a slow, measured, almost menacing way (not fully beheading them as it’s not Halal) and throwing them into a basket. There were literally hundreds of them wriggling about. Through the next door were hundreds of guys sitting on tables and hacking up meat. Bones, meat, blood everywhere, and the most overpowering smell I’ve ever experienced before. We were wearing flip flops at this point. Lovely.

    ... did that woman get memorials! Now the sun is set and it is time to eat. Narayan and I did a bit of exploring and then settled on a restaurant for dinner. I was still not hungry and didn't enjoy the food as much as I have the last couple days. I'm also still not sleepy for some reason!
