... our stuff arrive in Mahpussa just a taxi ride away from our hotel in the Goan capital of Panjim. The scenery was beautiful with palm trees, rice paddies, cows of course and little tiny villages.

... Kingfisher village up and running, film character themes, lights and a band playing ' we don't want no education'. All the stages are playing music at full volume, it's so India. The band switches to modern Indian music which they are much better at, couple of Kingfisher Tinnies and everything is Ok. Band closes and a festival film begins, without sound. Get the sound sorted out, but it's not an improvement. Even the locals walk away. Can't imagine an art ...

... Herritage site.It was a scorching hot day, so we slowly took our time to meander around the famous sites:
- Se Cathedral - old and worn around the edges but a grand cathedral with impressive interior.
- Basilica of Bom Jesus, a stunning church wirh beautiful paintings and the resting place for St Francis Xavier (his body is actually visible in a glass coffin!)
- Church of St Francis of Assisi - a small quaint church but with beautiful examples of paintings.

... All of these structures are in the same area. The Basilica being on one side of the road and the other two directly across from them.

Following our church visits we were taken to a heritage Goan-Portuguese mansion, where we met a Goanese family who graciously let us tour their home and then provided a light lunch for us in their garden complete with a trio of musicians and Kingfisher Beer!
