Desplite the fact Indian vet spoke four of indian official languages, India has so many that he was unable to communicate with everyone. I have come to realise that Indians are used to resorting to attempting to communicate in English with each other. The long suffering manager was a young, female, British vet. ... were nearby, but got no answer (it's about 3am). First night in Goa and no accommodation! Brill :) The taxi driver very obligingly drove me around a few places asking people if they knew of the huts, or if any rooms were available. We even woke up two young lads asleep behind a desk out the front of a hotel. No room at the inn here..
