    ... were watching it we heard a bit of a commotion across the road and saw three or more woodpeckers. One of these was probably a Great Spotted Woodpecker but the two that really caught our eyes were a pair of the much less common White-backed Woodpeckers, the largest of Europe's black and white woodpeckers and a great contrast to the tiny Lesser Spotted. We were all of a sudden quite pleased that we'd missed our stop.

    ... surprised me calling my uncle Juro to arrange a visit. Somehow Tomas realized that my last name was Bobala and that his father had been doing some kind of silversmithing with the tools in my uncle’s workshop whose name was also coincidentally Bobala. After talking they realized that indeed the girl they met in Korea (me), was in fact of the same Bobala clan and decided to drop in for a visit! It was short but sweet, and I look forward to seeing them ...

    ... round (the city centre looks beautiful), find a cheap hostel here and crash for the night. If there's lots to do we could hang around for a bit the next day as well before moving on to......... BUDAPEST... Flipping heck these places are exciting!
