We have just come back from a lovely trip up to Lake Konigssee, and a boat trip down the lake to St Bartholoma. The lake is nestled between the mountains, and is 602m above sea level with an average depth of 150m. It is the cleanest lake in Germany, with the water being pure enough to be classified ...

... ve been given better food because they mostly make the same thing for all the dietary people. Anyway to get out of eating bread is good with me. The Swarovski museum was amazing. The crystal clouds weren't as impressive as I thought but the various rooms were interesting. It's crazy what people can make and design. ... lake and mountains. What is a surprise is the amount of Arab families on holiday? When I was booking I saw a lot of feedback from Arab people staying in hotels and apartments. I suppose it is different but there are hundreds of them strolling around, mostly families. Even some of the signs on the town are in Arabic. Amazing.

Tourist day tomorrow - castles and ice!
