... not going to miss out especially as it was hot and ready to go. The lake was right nearby but not nearly as clear as our previous camp. Here the water was brown from all the tannin that runs into the waters.

... a side road to go to a Salmon farm but found strawberries for sale instead down a side road from a Russian strawberry farmer so forgot about the salmon and feasted on strawberries instead.
We found another great camping ground at Punkaharju Lomakeskus. We have a little log cabin right next to the lake and enjoyed a swim last night plus a sauna and swim to start the day off today. Have decided to book in here for another night.
The Campsite I suggested (350K away and not en route to Helsinki) was closed until the 01st of June!
Anyway.. found another expensive Hotel and treated Mark to a nice meal and wine at the Hotel restaurant.
