      ... west of Zagreb and must be the wine making area of the country. The place was full of grape vines filled with purple grapes. They were everywhere! And in front of almost every house.

      It must be very fertile land out here because there is so much growing on the side of the road. Apples, plums, pumpkins, berries, grapes, everything! The pumpkins were enormous!       ... which were centred around a barn type thing with walls on three sides and open one one side they had horses or sheep in the middle with loads and loads of vegetables. Probably the entire family lives in these little blocks. The houses were generally colourful, yellows and pinks, some were white, with so many flowers and little old ladies it the front laughing at us as we rode past.
