    This beautifully preserved sanctuary contains amazing masterpieces by Titian and Donatello (Titian is buried here) where it is so much better to enjoy the art in the space for which it was created rather than in a museum.

    ... a really well-stocked grocery, close to our apt. So, we are able to get what we need to have meals in our apt. The grocery shopping does Jackie in, so she heads back to the apt. And I head off to find lunch. I try out a place in St. Margaretha's Sq. They have wifi, but the food is only OK and it's a bit pricey. After lunch, I wander around.     ... saw that we could take number 7 around the other way to San Marco, so we did that. It was a nice and scenic ride and we even got seats! We got off at San Marco, and well, this area was not the charming Venice we had been experiencing. It was super crazy crowded with tourists, vending stands, etc....
