We did visit a museum about 10km away called Naumaniemi. All the visits to Posio and not once have we been here but what a pleasant surprise. A beautiful old house by the lake with all the original furniture and fixtures from over one hundred years ago. There are other old buildings, craft shop, ...

Ben going for an early morning swim was a bonus this morning as he nicely found just over 40 euros nestled in the sand!, that's our day paid for. Enjoyed freshly picked raspberries for breakfast before walking along the river to the Arktikum, the museum of artic science. We found it very interesting and learnt a great deal about the history and culture of Finland. ...

... Got Talent haha. When we landed -smoothly this time- we all had a conversation about last week’s landing in Kuusamo ;O)

The Aurora Borealis made one last appearance to wave us off, on the right hand side of the plane. I'm surprised we didn't tilt due to the scramble to get within view of a right hand window. Those who missed the chance to experience it while we were at Basecamp were very happy bunnies :D
