The sun was shining, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and it felt great being in a singlet walking along the marina. You call this Winter Malta?!

I didn’t have any swimmers, and I was too self-conscious to strip down to my underwear, so I jumped straight into the Harbour in my clothes. The water was so cold it took my breath away, but after a few minutes it ...

... gentleman! But I took a liking to that jacket…and didn’t want to give it back!

We went to Egil’s apartment, which I loved! It was so spacious and stylish, with quirky bits and pieces. I was taken aback by his shoe collection though, which far surpasses rivalling mine, and just blows the competition out of the water! He has SO MANY shoes! And most of them are Adidas sneakers! He can’t possibly wear them all, but he says he does…

In the morning I posted some presents back to Australia. The post office staff know me very well now, because I'm always coming in with a handful of postcards, or a strange-shaped gift to try and send.

I went to Valletta via bus, and took photos through the streets of all the leftover St. Paul's Day decorations. The Maltese know how to throw a party!

I made my way down to St. Elmo’s to ...
