... Greenfields ..this is an agricultural part of California ...lots of wineries, pimentos, watermelons, fennel, lettuces, and other types of veggies. Learned that Gilroy is the garlic capital of the country ..you can get garlic wine, salsa etc. The amazing thing was it was all irrigated ..not sure if underground or other sources...and it appeared apart from acres and acres of plantations ..in the distance was desert. Produce is grown for the next 33 ...
And so ends my fantastic summer. Today, Tracy and I woke up early and drove up to school to unpack. I am currently sitting in my dorm room, half unpacked and living on my three hours of sleep. School starts on Monday.
It's been the best summer ever.
