... Back to the van for take down then into Skagen for sunny breakfast (Prego's eyes were completely fine!) We parked up and walked through the main street then turned right down to the water. We reckon there's probably more we didn't see but time wasn't really on our side. We definitely hope to be back in Skagen one day. Such an amazing place. It's famous for art / artists due to the light. We're not sure if that's the type of light or the length (it's still light at 1130pm) but ...

... easier to drive there! After brek we put Prego's advocate on and then took her straight out for a walk to take her mind off it. A lovely stroll in the sunshine then she well and truly got her own back by jumping in a boggy ditch. Filthy and stinky - great. When we got back to camp, we hosed stinky down, dried her off, then had a quick cuppa before heading out on the bikes. We spent ages testing out the van and the heat / ventilation so it was safe to leave Prego. With all ...

Prego was treated to Chicken and Rabbit meat in jelly which she devoured! Another triumph. The two tragedies were that not only have we run out of Colmans, we've also run out of Paxo. We've searched the last ...

Escape day!! It was sunny and relatively calm (at last) and the forecast looked good for our plan to round the tip of Denmark and venture down the coast a little, in the North Sea (first time out of the Baltic area for 5 years). Our destination was the ferry port of Hirtshals, where ferries cross to Kristiansand in Norway and where we hope to go on Saturday. The distance we had to cover today was only about 30 miles so there was ...

We are beginning to sense that the weather gods are not with us. Change of plan at the beginning of the week back fired and the place that had the most sun in Denmark is currently having some rain. ;-)

Another wet drive from Struer to Frederickshavn and a ferry ride to Lęsų. We chose the quiet cabin, and along with one set of people talking loudly ...
