... br> Original plan had been to make this slightly more relaxed but got to Paris a couple of days later than originally planned and had already booked the later parts.

On the plus side, got down to some serious speeding on the limitless autobahn and Brynhildr made it to 115 spurred on by AC/DC.

Got to Hirtshals at about 1 in the morning after a ...

The boat is big and it took us a while to get oriented. At 10 pm when the tax-free shop opened there was a rush to the shop by most people on board. Strangely enough even tax-free it is still

We went to a total of 3 beaches, each being as pretty as the last with massive sand dunes and ...

We had an early morning as although the ferry didn't arrive until 9am we were woken at 6am and told we had to be out if the cabin by 7am. Lovely start to the day. Once in Hirtshals it was simple to book a ferry to Kritiansand in Norway and we were back on a ferry by 12:15 though this one was a shorter trip with much better entertainment on board. It was a lovely sunny day so spend most of the trip on the deck enjoying the ...

Time to leave the Island but first another great experience. Lili Jepsen from the Local History Museum had agreed to meet us at breakfast. She is the lady who put us in touch with our Danish cousin Kurt who lives on the mainland. Lili had spent the weekend in Sweden but made the effort to meet us, and drive us to the ferry. She is a lovely lady and we were delighted to have the opportunity to thank her in person for all she and the local historian have done for ...
