Lars is the pastor at the Bjergby church where Angie's great-grandfather was baptized, we met him Tuesday when we visited the church and he invited us to his home on Thursday to see if he could help with our records search. We arrived at his home and met his wife who had made tea, coffee and an amazing ...

So the first leg of the trip is winding down, tomorrow we have the day in Denmark and then board the ferry from Hirtshalls and set sail to Bergen, Norway. With this in mind, we were keen to set off and whilst not wanting to disturb our neighbours, one of whom in a power boat from Grebbstad had introduced us to the taste of elk salami (delicious) and who wanted to depart at 08:00. So we waited for them and hot on their heels, having extricated our anchors, we were off, weaving our way past and through the dozen ...

We are beginning to sense that the weather gods are not with us. Change of plan at the beginning of the week back fired and the place that had the most sun in Denmark is currently having some rain. ;-)

Another wet drive from Struer to Frederickshavn and a ferry ride to Lęsų. We chose the quiet cabin, and along with one set of people talking loudly ...
