Arriving in Hirtshals we had to walk about 2km from the train station to the ferry terminal, a little bit of a trudge with a big backpack and the wind of the North Sea blowing in your face, but we made it. Once on board our ship, MS Stavangerfjord we found our little cabin before heading off to explore the ship. Second sleep in the car in the car next to a little pond round the back of a hotel and had my first experience of a not fully dark night as I looked towards the North and my destination the next morning. Slept that night full of anticipation for having finished with the boring driving and looking forward to Norway and beyond.

Denmark was incredibly flat so we decided we should head somewhere different, Norway was a good call as it has some amazing mountains. It was short and sweet but we will be back for much more when we head back down south.
