... We arrived at the first lake and then encountered snow. The Squadra kept pushing on till it became obvious that only pierre, flinty, james and Steiners being the only ones who had hiking waterproof shoes could continue to the end. it took over 5.5 hours with stops but was fantastic. Anyway, we arrived and were delighted with our Hotel Milleluci. There are only 4 couples here and it is a great spot for a free day.

the total climbing was 2,900 meters and 142km of riding meaning 7 hours in the saddle.
