      ... were not around. On our way back we passed a Military Checkpoint, complete in full army fatigue with the machine guns. This was the same way 25 yeas ago, but then it was more noticeable. Now that Gerry has finished Spanish Classes we are starting to explore. We are near 3 schools and 2 hospitals (we do not hear any sirens) and a local Mercado. It's great, I can go for fresh vegetables and fruit everyday, and 2 stores make fresh tortilla shells, ...

      ... were walking out of the locked gates of our complex, I realized what goes out, must come back in with a key or the automated gate is closing...Opps..picture 2 Gringos running around the gate. What I did forget was the address of the townhouse as we went to Walmart (about a Kilometre away) for our groceries, but we remembered the cross streets as we were getting into the taxi to take us back.       One of the interesting features of this town and the surrounding land are the stone fences. Most of them appeared quite old and surround the town for quite a distance. They appear to enclose large parcels of land. We assume they were left over from the old days when the population was much greater. Some of the enclosures had structures inside but many were empty.
