    ... in mustard damask, similar to the one in the fancy house in Poldark -- trying to get some sleep in between the griping pains.

    However, the beautiful old church right beside the chateau rings its bells EVERY hour, then a few minutes later just in case you missed it, then once on the half hour.

    It's a bit like the Chinese water torture.

    The worst is at 7 am when the church-ringing mafia have decided that YOU WILL GET UP AT 7AM!
