    ... was pretty rough and the water colder than I thought it would be for being so far south. The actual beach areas are very small, and surrounded by cliffs. You need to walk down some steep stairs to get to the beach and it is not safe to go off any of the paved paths as the erosion is so bad. The views are so worth the extra effort though.     Up early this morning, I left the kids and Laneshia still snuggled in their beds catching forty winks and I made a short trip to Torrey Pines Golf Course.
