I just went back through some of our photos to see that quote from Lao Tzu, "A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving." Now one month away from home with thousands of miles traveled, I longed for not being on the road. Although I never had a bad night's sleep or a back ache, I longed for my own bed. Although I've enjoyed the privileged of this adventure, I longed for home. One more day.
Today we went to down town Atlanta and got off of the train at Lenox, ready to go to the cinema. We went to look around some fancy expensive shops on the way. We saw mayceys and a Bloomingdales. World of coke was another awesome day out. Just such a different thing to do and it was just a great cool atmosphere to be their. A real family feeling. We walked right into the lobby which had massive coke bottles designed all over the world. We then went into the loft, we were surrounded by coke artefacts from though out time which was special. ... even want BCD staff to be located in their area (or even on-site). As I mentioned, the tight-nit structure allows the company to be considerably flexible in its client relationships. In contrast to competitors, BCD has foregone the cookie-cutter approach and, in so doing, shows how it can take on the world.
PS - I also discovered today how BCD was involved in the relief effort surrounding Hurricane "Sandy"! This company is full of surprises.
... this 500-piece White Album puzzle from FAO Schwarz. It's double-sided, where one side is completely white... I definitely did the other side, which was still difficult because it was pretty much black and white. Remind me not to do a black and white puzzle again. It was still fun nonetheless. My brother joined me and we finished in 3 days! Woo.
