    ... floor and face aft.. and row the boat stern first facing downstream.. like sitting on a datum line.. fore of center... in a sense maybe its actually aft of center depending on how you look at it... so if I were flying backwards down stream .. facing the tail of the plane... anyway.... the boat was easier to control... as nutty as it sounds.. it was..........

    ... initially but once we got past the first section it was well lit and there were lots of families around. The Arch is massive and you can apparently go inside it. But since we got there around 9 they were closing up so we just walked around it and took photos. On the way back to the car we are following two men who were chilling in the park.     ... park off Washington (next to the famous St Louis Gateway Arch) and then walked into the old part of town. This was mainly cobbled roads, and the state of them made our roads back home in Tameside look smooth!!
