    ... Fiats, Mercedes, Mini Coopers, Citroen, Peugot. Saw a few Fords and Jeeps. No billboards anywhere so the road trip was lovely. Farm land, cows, green hills and mountains. There are a lot of little villages on hilltops as well as Medieval structures that constantly remind you about how old this area of the world is.     We stopped first in Ravenna today to see its ceramics and the tomb of Dante. The ceramics were nice but having seen the Blue Mosque eand Hagia Sofia in Istanbul I wasn't too impressed.
