... day in Germany. A 20 minute walk to the train station in the easily 30 degree heat had us sweating while we waited for our ride. Two and a half hours later and three train changes we were in Munich, Germany. After we were ripped off by a taxi to get to the Mercure Hotel, we were ready to see the city. We caught a tram into the city centre and hopped on a red open top double decker bus for a city tour. Worst €30 we’ve spent yet! ...

... half expected to see little fairies flitting about in the woods because it really looked like a place from a fairy tale. In the fields were scattered elegant purple crocus like flowers and the ground was littered with golden leaves. I could have spent the whole day exploring the palace grounds, but we had places to be so we left the palace after only about an hour. That evening we explored the city center a bit, but were so tired from the traveling ...

... current for a bit. Then jumped out halfway and I felt like my feet were going to freeze off. We then jumped back in to drift under a bridge before clambering out of the freezing cold water. Thank goodness it was such a nice warm day. The water would've come off the icy mountains. After jumping in the river we rode to a Chinese beer house in an English garden in the middle of Munich. Here we had more beer, called weissbeer (sounds like vice beer). It was full strength beer that ...
