... over it - where are the messy parts of this country? I found one cabin in the forest, actually, where someone had perhaps tried to keep warm with newspaper, and left it there - that's the ONLY mess I saw in the forest! Now, in the countryside, I saw horse manure and 3 cigarette packets - well, where did they come from!!?? How sad of those people to spoil the record of NO litter!!

This morning Monika and I set out for Appenzell, Switzerland. We made our way along (very) windy roads to the base of the mountain named Saentis.
