    ... ago, when tequila became very popular, some distilleries added Joven (young) Tequila which has additives (legally allowed) so it can be brought to the market very quickly but it is not 100% tequila and is best for margaritas and mixed drinks.

    And some distilleries also produce an Extra Anejo, in the oak up till 5 years and more of a cognac.
