... new materials and build up around the ruins. This made for an incredibly striking interior with old bricks mixed with modern iron and wood. Basically it’s what would happen if you build an Ikea store inside of castle ruins. Really cool stuff. They also have a costume closet where kids can come in and dress up like the kings and queens who lived there and wander around the castle for the day. ... is more astonishing is that all kinds of people gather - children, youths, seniors etc - and there seem to be no signs of trouble. Even though drinking is in great abundance and without any real controls, people are peaceful and really seem to respect their city. I think Canada could learn a lot from Denmark, but I think that the calm mentality of the people makes it easier to allow such freedom. Something to think about anyway.
