Another difference to mention is that discount supermarkets are very common here and are a slightly different shopping experience from what I am used to! In New Zealand, when you go to a supermarket, there is someone who packs the bag for you. Here, you do it yourself and you tend to bring your own bag to pack your groceries as well!
