Made it to Pacitan! Nawang picked us up at 5am this morning to drive to Pacitan with her and Lila (her 7 year old daughter). So we were up at 4am to pack our backpacks for the week-long holiday in Pacitan. Today Mary, Christy and I participated in the fasting of Ramadan. The three of us woke up at 3am to eat before sunrise. We had ordered some take-out from Cha Cha the night before - sautéed broccoli with rice and I also had a Milo drink (chocolate milk drink with vitamins). A early start today, our tour leaves the ship at 7.30am. We are heading to a coffee plantation followed by a train journey in an old steam train through the lush tropical landscape of rural Central Java.
