      ... was, some prawn/noodle thing, with limited flavour. We also got dessert, a pineapple cake with raspberry coullis, it was very nice. Going to the bathroom was slightly frustrating as I had a window seat, where the two men next to me had to both get up and wait while I went. I went a couple of times.       We had no set plans today. We wanted to go to the aquarium but Dad decided we should just go exploring.

      We left our apartment on Carrer la Font and headed towards La Rambla via Carrer Nou de la Rambla. We went past the Palua Guell but decided to keep walking and soon arrived at La Rambla...it was packed with people.

      Well yesterday I visited the Fundacio Joan Miro, which is just up the hill from where I am staying. Joan Miro was a clever man who created a niche for himself as an artist with his own colourful style. He died in 1987 at the age of 90 and left a huge legacy of work, some of which I like. I don't like the Foundation in its posh building up the road, however, for two reasons. First they advertised on their site that at 1pm on Thursdays they have a free guided tour in English. Well ...

      ... worker refused to see the problem with this and refused to admit the booking had been stuffed up. First time I saw Michaela take a confrontational stance ... It was awesome !! Haha we accepted it however and figured we could leave in the morning... However I went up to my room and found someone in my bed.. Dragged all my luggage back down the stairs and waited for half hour for the guy to serve me. Clearly realising he was not going to fair well in this argument.. ...
