After less than 1hr car ride we arrive in Balikesir. I am met by my next host family, Lütfü Tezcan (father) & Güven Tezcan (son) - I met the mum later on, her name is Güvenj. As a group we stop for lunch - once again (no surprises) - very nice! I head back to my hosts house. They live in a relatively new area on a hill just on the edge of town. Two are unlikely but the map suggests one town while logic suggests another. Looks like a tour of this mountainous island is in prospect. Gah why are things so difficult.
