Awoke at 3:30am to get going by 4am! We slept while our driver, Ahmet, powered through and got on the 7am ferry across the Dardanelles to Eceabat. After less than 1hr car ride we arrive in Balikesir. I am met by my next host family, Lütfü Tezcan (father) & Güven Tezcan (son) - I met the mum later on, her name is Güvenj. As a group we stop for lunch - once again (no surprises) - very nice! I head back to my hosts house. They live in a relatively new area on a hill just on the edge of town.
